This is actually pretty embarrassing to say the least, just imagine being a local reporter just trying to do your job, and just being totally disrespected in every way imaginable. According to today.com, Brianna Hamblin is a morning reporter with Spectrum News in Rochester. Brianna was set up to live for a 6 a.m. newscast when she was approached by a man that began to harass her.

I can see how being a young news reporter can be a tough enough job, especially for a young black woman in the industry there are many day-to-day hurdles to overcome. I watched the video, and at first, I thought to myself, why is this drunk guy bothering this young lady while she's working, then I noticed the look on her face and she was clearly very uncomfortable.

Being a Black woman in this industry has it's own headaches, but talking down on one group of women to 'praise' another group is NEVER okay. It just shows you have disgusting fetish based on stereotypes, which is just racist.

This is an issue that women go through all the time, not only in this profession but many others as well. I'm glad to see that Brianna posted this rude behavior, to help shine a light on this situation that really needs attention. Just think if that was your daughter, sister, or family member being bothered on the job for no reason. Some people may find it harmless, but it can be extremely nerving while on the job or anywhere for that matter.
