If clipping coupons and remembering to send in rebates isn't your thing, there's an app that makes saving money on groceries and every day stuff a lot easier.

Ibotta is an app that works with a ton of local stores and online retailers. You just download the app, search through the available offers and select the ones you want.

Once you buy your items, you scan their barcodes and then send in a photo of the receipt. Funds are then sent to your ibotta account, and after you earn $20 in savings, you can cash out -- either have funds deposited directly into a Paypal or Venmo account, or you can cash in your savings as a gift card for a ton of different retailers.
