It can be really difficult juggling a career, kids, your relationship, but are you doing a great job?

The big question is... Can you succeed at your career and as a parent?

The answer is...

Yes! You can!

78% of parents say you can "have it all!" You can have a successful career and be a good parent. I know this can seem difficult because you are trying to please everyone at work and then be there for your kiddos. It can become quite the juggling act.

The hint? Time management. This can be tricky when you get a call from school that your child is sick or figuring out where to put them in the summer time, but if you come up with a plan A and then even a plan B, you can do it!

Unfortunately, 38% of parents stated that they missed a significant event in their child's life. This can seem a bit upsetting. As a working Mom myself, I know it can be hard trying to juggle everything and I still am able to visit Amber at lunch, attend school functions, take her to dance competitions and practices, and schedule play dates. I think what helps is knowing that things can change and it is ok. My daughter could get sick, a competition could be rescheduled, but it is all part of the process.

You have one life to live and your child is only this small for a short period of time. Cherish every moment and stop being hard on yourself.

In regards to your career it is good to dive right in, motivate yourself and others to stay on track, and do what you love to do, then you won't have to work a day in your life. (I read that quote somewhere and it resonated with me) I am a firm believer in making sure you are at a job where it is at least tolerable for you. Sometimes you have to take those jobs to lead you to where you need to be.

Hang in there! If no one said you are doing a good job.. I'm here to tell you that you are doing a good job and to keep up your good work!
