Kudos to Aileen Hoak-Lange, of Colden, came in second place for the women's 35-39 category in Sunday's Buffalo Marathon. Not only is that achievement worth note, but Aileen did it while pregnant, with her doctor's ok of course.

She says she was nervous at first, but after her doctor gave her the 'all-clear,' Hoak-Lange was in it to win it.

Hoak-Lange says she didn't expect to be running for two, as she just found out about the good news two weeks ago.

"I'm ecstatic, because now I know I can continue to run and be healthy doing it, and it's kind of great because it's kind of like a six-month pregnancy, because I didn't know about the first three months," Hoak-Lange said. "So, it's going to fly by."
