But if you have not gotten a haircut in a while and chose not to do it yourself, that haircut you desperately need is almost here.

With Western New York officially reopening for Phase One on Tuesday, that means that Phase Two (assuming there are no setbacks) would begin in two weeks -- which includes hair salons.

Some stylists are preparing for the extra workload, according to WKBW.

“I think it's going to be nuts. I personally am going to be doing 6 days a week, 12-hour days. I think that I'll probably have to do that for about four weeks,” said Jennifer Swift, owner of Jennifer Julia Salon.

Everyone at Jennifer Julia Salon has been certified to use Barbicide, which sterilizes their cutting tools.

“That's what beauty school is. Beauty school teaches you how to do hair in a sanitary way so it's not that different from our normal day to day life,” Swift said.

Customers and stylists will need to keep six feet apart, as well as wear masks. Customers might also be required to wait in their car until their appointment is ready.
