You knew it was only a matter of time.

There is a winter weather advisory in effect from noon Saturday to 1 a.m. Sunday for blowing snow. The areas effected are Erie County and interior Genesee Valley and Finger Lakes Counties, away from the lake.

Be aware of blowing snow and temperatures turning much colder, causing untreated roads to freeze. We could see accumulations of an inch or less Saturday and up to 2 inches Saturday night, for a total of 1-3 inches. Winds will be blowing northwest 20 to 30 MPH. Expect highs in the lower 30s on Saturday and lows of 15-20 degrees -- single digits with the wind chill.

All of this could cause difficult driving conditions with areas of slick and snow-covered roads and poor visibility.
