The snow is coming today and it will impact pretty much all of Western New York.

Looking ahead to the forecast for today, snow is set to move into Western New York later this morning and parts of Western New York will be under a Winter Weather Advisory until Saturday morning.

Forecasts are calling for around 6 inches of snow for the Southern Tier and several inches for the rest of Western New York.

With the winter weather impacting the area, we could also see travel impacted by the weather, so if you are doing any traveling tonight use caution. Roads could be icy and slick.

The good news is that the snow should be out of the area by Saturday afternoon and sunshine should be back in Western New York by Sunday.
