A winter weather advisory was issued this morning for part of Western New York starting later this afternoon.

Wind, freezing rain and snow could all make for a much slower afternoon commute.
This week will be a hodge podge of weather. Today and tomorrow there will be possible snow showers, but is it supposed to warm up tomorrow and that snow could turn into rain.
On Wednesday we could see our high temperature well above normal as we could reach the 50s. Then to wrap up the week, another winter storm will move across the area. That storm is expected to hit well south of Buffalo but could still bring plenty of snow and freezing rain.
Besides three major events here in Western New York, the snow totals have been below average for New York State so far this winter. Those totals will change later this week as this storm moves through across the state.
