A wind chill advisory remains in effect for much of Western New York until 10:00A.M. on Thursday. The National Weather Service says that wind chill values are averaging around 20 degrees below zero, so make sure you dress in layers if you are going to be outside for more than a few moments.

The cold weather is not only dangerous to be out in, but can also make for some difficult driving as well. When temperatures hit the single digits, rock salt has little effect so the roads tend to remain slick.
