Gas prices are starting to go down across Western New York following a higher prices due to tensions in the Middle East.

According to AAA of Western and Central New York, the average price for a gallon of gas in Buffalo is $2.63, a one-cent decrease from last week, while the average price for gas in Batavia is $2.64 per gallon, a three-cent decrease from last week.

Gas prices in Western New York are usually higher than the national average of $2.55 per gallon, however they're still better than the statewide average of $2.71 per gallon.
So while gas may not be great for digestion...lower prices at the pump will help.
