Summer comes, and everyone breaks out the cooler clothes. Makes sense. Only problem is, are those short shorts or that revealing top work appropriate?

What do people think is or isn't OK to wear at work? A new survey shows U.S. adults expressing more outrage at scantily-clad co-workers this year than last.

• 72 percent of Americans believe strapless or backless tops and dresses are "inappropriate for the workplace."
• 59 percent say shorts are inappropriate.
• 76 percent said flip-flops aren't appropriate.
