According to our 4 Warn Weather Partners...

By Saturday morning, rain or a wintry mix will develop as a more significant storm starts to impact the region.  The mixed precipitation will transition into snow getting into the afternoon as temperatures decrease.  Some of that snow will start to stick first across the hills, and then the lower terrain and the Buffalo-Niagara Falls metro.

The wind picks up Saturday night along with additional snow showers.  Sunday morning, remaining snow showers will taper off with a drier afternoon on tap, perhaps some sunny breaks.

Next week a potent storm will produce a wintry mix Tuesday with rain changing over to snow.  It turns much colder and windy Wednesday with snow showers and localized lake effect snow.

FRIDAY: Light Rain Showers south of the metro taper off during the afternoon, Cloudy with just a chance of a Rain Shower from the metro north, Mild, High: 40-46,

SATURDAY:  Rain or a Wintry Mix changes to Snow, Early High: 39, temperatures drop thru the 30s during the day.

SUNDAY: AM Snow Showers, Breaks of PM Sun, High: 34.

MONDAY: Light Snow Showers, High: 34.

TUESDAY: Thickening Clouds, Snow or a Wintry Mix Late, High: 35.
