We turned to Channel 4's (WIVB-TV) Mike Cejka for the weekend forecast.

Friday afternoon, the Sun will begin to fade and expect a few very spotty showers mainly from Buffalo southward.  Rain showers, locally heavy downpours, and a few thunderstorms later Friday evening which will scatter out by Saturday morning.

Showers end early Saturday, then expect just some spotty showers or thundershowers south of Buffalo for the remainder of the day. It becomes more humid along with sunny breaks.

Right now, Sunday looks pretty good, some partial sun, mainly dry, with just a chance of a late afternoon shower or thundershower.  Again increasing humidity.  Spotty morning rain showers to begin Memorial Day, with just an isolated afternoon shower.

The warmer weather trend continues right into next week.

FRIDAY: Some Morning Sun, PM Clouds Increase and Thicken, a few Showers spread northward this afternoon, High: 65 south, 78 metro.

SATURDAY: Early Rain Showers then just a chance of a stray Shower or Thundershower mainly south of Buffalo, Becoming More Humid, High: 68-74.

SUNDAY: Partial Sun and mainly dry, Chance of a late afternoon/evening Shower or Thunderstorm, Humid, High: 76.

MEMORIAL DAY MONDAY:  Spotty Morning Rain Showers, just an Isolated Afternoon Shower or Thundershower, Humid, High: 79.
