The list features “companies that have demonstrated respect, care, and concern for their employees, communities, and the environment.” This isn't the first time that Wegmans has been included on the list. They have the distinction of appearing for five consecutive years.

Colleen Wegman, president and CEO of Wegmans Food Markets says “Our philosophy has always been to take care of our people so they can take care of our customers. It has been incredibly inspiring to watch our people show up every day with a smile, ready to serve our customers while most of the world was asked to stay home. Thank you to both our people and our customers for helping create such a caring environment at Wegmans.”

Wegmans is proud of the fact that their company is driven by a culture that exemplifies a family-like experience. Priorities ensure that employees are cared for, respected, and empowered. The company offers opportunities for career growth and employees also receive benefits like health coverage, 401K contributions, and competitive wages.

Wegmans is also known for its involvement in local communities through food bank donations, youth sports sponsorships, and humanitarian relief.

Wegman's promotes a good work ethic, especially for those just entering the workforce. They respect their employees and they empower them to make decisions that improve their work and benefit customers and the company.
