High Of 90s Expected This Weekend Across New York

A mini shot of Summer weather is coming through New York State this weekend.

Starting in Western and Central New York this Friday, we will see summerlike weather for about 48 hours in New York State this weekend through early next week.

Buffalo and Rochester are expected to see near record highs for Friday and nice weather through the weekend. The temperatures will take a tumble on Monday and the highs will drop way down to the upper 50s to start next week.

This mini-heatwave will impact the Eastern part of New York State starting late Friday and then on Saturday.

In Binghamton, the high on Friday is 83 and it drops down to 68 by Monday. In New York City, it goes from 89 on Saturday to 72 on Monday.

The temperature will remain around the average or even a bit below average for next week and then we will see a slight warm-up heading into Memorial Day weekend.

The extended forecast from Accuweather states that we will see slightly below temperatures for much of the beginning of June before warming back up in the 2nd half of the month heading into July.
