Today is International Day of Happiness.  And even though we're all practicing social distancing and \going experiencing some uncertainty there's a lot to be thankful for.

Here are three things you can do to stay positive . . .

1.  Enjoy the small things.  Like the ability to sleep in if you're out of work, or the smell of freshly-brewed coffee.  Things you may have taken for granted in the past can still improve your mood, and make you feel calm.

2.  Strengthen your connections. It's a perfect time to appreciate your family.  Play board games, look them in the eyes, have conversations with them.  Or reach out to your loved ones on the phone or FaceTime.

3.  Look for the good in others.  There are a lot of GOOD stories out there, like people helping their elderly neighbors or people leaving huge tips at restaurants before they close.

4.  And regardless of your faith...pray, or have some other kind of spirituality in your life.
