The Buffalo Bills will be back at St. John Fisher University in Rochester on Sunday for an 11:45 am practice, which will be the only non-9:45 am starting time this summer for camp.

Bills fans, however, are still basking in the glow from the perfect evening at the annual blue and red scrimmage that was held at Highmark Stadium on Friday.

The big story from the scrimmage was Josh Allen running out onto the field with a red Bills helmet, which got fans fired up. The Bills later said on social media that they didn’t know Josh would do that and there will be no red helmet alternate in 2022. Still hope for 2023, however.

The scrimmage itself went well, as both Khalil Shakir and James Cook impressed on offense and the best news of all is nobody was injured.

After the scrimmage, new Bills edge rusher Von Miller (who watched the scrimmage from the sideline with a rest day), had some amazing words for Bills Mafia.

Nearly 36,000 fans showed up for a practice and Miller was blown away.

He said “I’ve been in some special places, but Buffalo is just different man.”

The 35,911 fans in attendance was the most ever for a Bills scrimmage and it’s clear the fan excitement is at an all-time high in Western New York.

The Bills will play in their first preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts next Saturday afternoon at Highmark Stadium.

Dony expect the starters to play much, if at all, but should be a chance to see the rookies in game action for the first time.
