You have to take a look at what Sahlen Field looks like right now!

What a time to be in Buffalo, New York. The Blue Jays have officially taken over Sahlen Field and calling it their 'home away from home'. The Blue Jays sold tickets to their first eight 'home' games at Sahlen Field and they sold out in just a matter of a few hours. If you are going to any of the games, here are a few things that you should know before you go to the game:

  • You must have the MLB app downloaded because that is where you will have to show your ticket. All tickets are electronic.
  • You must use the Swan Street entrance.
  • Unfortunately, the famous Conehead will not be going in and out of the stands with beer. All food (which will be pre-wrapped) and beer will only be sold out in the concourse area. Yes, conehead will at least be out there and selling beer!
  • The next wave of tickets for the next 8 'home' games will go on sale on June 10 at 10am so, make sure you are ready to grab tickets and watch one of these historic games!

Check out the video that the Blue Jays shared and go behind the scenes of what it looks like now. In the video, you will see the new player lounge, the dining room, the ice baths, the bathrooms; the bathrooms have even been completely redone. Absolutely everything inside is BLUE and they are referred to as washrooms because, in Canada that is traditionally what they are called.
