The Erie County Sheriff's Office is searching for the vandals that cute through two utility poles in the Town of Clarence at some point on Monday.

The Sheriff's office and members of the Harris Hill Fire Company responded to the scene around 9:30P.M. after receiving several reports of power outages in the area of Transit Road and Wehrle Drive.

It's believed that the utility poles were cut down with a chainsaw or other type of mechanical saw, leaving 800 customers without power.
