Warm Today, High Winds For Halloween

News 4 Meteorologists give us an indication of what we can expect today and through the weekend, to help with your Halloween planning.

High Wind Watch in effect for Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming, Northern Erie, Southern Erie, and Chautauqua from 8 pm Thursday through 8 pm Friday. Southwest winds around 35-45 mph may gust upwards of 60 mph at times. Damaging winds could blow down trees and bring down power lines. Widespread power outages are possible…

An increasing breeze, primarily across the hilltops and Erie lakeshore, may gust to 35 mph Tuesday morning. Otherwise, we have more sunshine on tap until clouds start to increase during the afternoon and there is a chance of a shower toward evening.

Wednesday should be relatively quiet there is a chance of a shower, with partly to mostly cloudy skies.
