Uber Might Start Listening In On Customer Rides

Do you take an Uber? Maybe it's often or just from time to time but you and your Uber driver might not be the only people listening in the car.

According to WIVB, the Washington Post says Uber is going to start testing a new feature that allows them to listen in on customers rides. It will be tested in Latin America.

Of course, the thinking is safety and provide better service for the customer but that might be problematic if it's put into place here in the US. States have different laws in regards to recording and privacy.

I have to admit, I would not enjoy the feeling of Uber listening in on my ride...
