Christmas Party for The Homeless

This is the second year that Joshua and Jeremiah West, two elementary-aged boys, will be organizing The Christmas Party for the Homeless.  Last year the brothers inspired the event in their home town of Rochester and this year they decided to expand and throw a party in Buffalo as well.

When:          Sat.  Dec. 20 3pm-5pm

 Where:        Buffalo  Central  Public Library * 1 Lafayette Square * Buffalo, NY, 14213.

The boys have inspired and organized several philanthropic activities including raising  3k for a 6-year-old cancer patient as part of a 'Kids Fun Run' and raising $1,300 hundred dollars worth of food for 42 families for Thanksgiving.

The Buffalo event started as a small charity function and now everyone is getting involved.

  • Hearts for the Homeless is providing food
  • Pizza Chick N' Works will be donating refreshments
  • House of Masters Barber shop will be doing haircutting for the homeless
  • Woman in the Spotlight Going Global will be donating gifts
  • There will be games, crafts for the kids, music

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

  • Please donate warm  hats/gloves/scarves (preferably gift wrapped)
  • Or “Be a Blessing Bags”  (gallon zip locks filled with toiletries)
