As part of their bankruptcy filing, a judge has given Tops Markets to close under-performing stores.

On May 10th, U.S Bankruptcy Court Judge Robert Drain approved the request of Tops to shut down stores that are unprofitable and to hold store closing sales before shutting them down.

Tops did not announce what stores would be closed.

Tops filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy back in February. The company reported that It has reported having more than $720 million in debt.
