The Niagara Aquarium is a great place to take your kids now that they are out of school. The Niagara Aquarium is one of only 17 aquariums in North America that house an endangered breed of Peruvian Penguins. The Aquarium offers visitors chances to see the penguins get fed, the sea lions get trained, and shark feedings at different times during the day. And for just $5 you can feed a seal! Admission is $10 for adults $8 seniors and $6 for kids.

The Buffalo Zoo is the third oldest zoo in the US and is the 2nd biggest tourist attraction in Buffalo preceded only by Niagara Falls. The Buffalo Zoo takes up 23 acres of Delaware Park and houses over 1200 animals. Admission is $7 for children and $10 for adults.

Strong Museum

The Strong Museum is a really fun and educational way to spend a day with your kids. The Strong Museum has 10 fun hands on exhibits geared just for kids like the American Comic Book Hero’s Exhibit that lets kids jump into the world of their favorite super hero’s and the Kids Super Store that lets kids take the reins of a pint size model Wegmans. The museum also has over 10 other collections of interesting artifacts like their Toy Collection, Santa Claus Collection, and Donald Duck Collection. Admission to the Strong Museum is $12 for adults and $10 for children.

The Butterfly Conservatory is a relaxing way to spend the day with your kids and unwind from the stress of cleaning out lockers and signing yearbooks. The Butterfly Conservatory houses over 2,000 tropical butterflies that have free reign over the lush rainforest landscape of the conservatory so don’t be surprised when a few land on you! Admission to the Butterfly Conservatory is $12.95 for adults and $7.95 for children over 5.

Clifton Hill is a great way to spend a whole day with your kids because of its great location to Niagara Falls and large array of attractions. After taking your kids to see the Falls they can enjoy the amusements of Clifton Hill which include Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum, Louis Tussands Wax Museum and the Niagara Skywheel which allows you a birds eye view of the Falls from a climate controlled gondola way up in the air.
