We're just over two weeks away from the Fourth of July weekend and here in Western New York, there isn't a shortage of things to do.

Obviously, firework shows will be at the top of most everyone's lists but that's only an hour or two of everyone's time on the Fourth of July; there's a ton of things to do that weekend in Buffalo and Western New York during that weekend and it's always one of the most fun weekends of the year.

This year, the Fourth of July falls on a Sunday, so hopefully, you're someone who has the next day off, and even if you don't, might be a good time to take a personal day!

Food and drinks are popular that weekend. Sometimes I get friends together for a pool party or perhaps a cookout, but if you're looking to get out on July 3rd or 4th, why not take a trip to Chesnut Ridge Park? You could also enjoy a patio beer at a brewery. Another fun thing to do would be to see a Blue Jays game; they host the Tampa Rays on the Fourth of July.
