If you want your outdoor plants to be around for a while, bring them indoors tonight as our run of unseasonably warm temperatures will come to an end with a frost advisory tonight. With lows ranging between 30 to 39 degrees, it's a good idea to bring in your plants for protection.

Here are the NOAA weather frost advisory details:

FROST ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 8 AM EDT
THURSDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO HAS ISSUED A FROST
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 8 AM EDT
THURSDAY.

The coolest spots will be in the southern portions of Western New York into Northeast Pennsylvania.

Expect frost just after midnight and through tomorrow morning.

If you can't bring the plants in, certain materials can be used to cover them like woven fabrics which are better insulators than plastics or paper. Consider covering them up the late this afternoon. Remove the covers tomorrow morning and let the sunshine warm them back up.

So tonight, bring in the mums, mum.
