The Bills are back in Primetime as they take on the Tenessee Titans tonight in Nashville. The Bills head into the game leading the NFL in average points scored per game.

The fact that they can score at will makes them a very dangerous team to play, but it also is giving one player a chance to set a new franchise record very early in the season.

The Bills franchise record for most touchdown catches in a season by a tight end in Bills' history is 6.

Currently, Dawson Knox who is having a break-out season this year has scored five total touchdowns in just 5 games. In fact, he has a 4 game scoring streak and if he keeps that up tonight, he could see his name etched in the Buffalo Bills record books.

Holding the record currently is a trio of former Bills players. Pete Metzelaars, Jay Riemersma, and Scott Chandler each ended the season with 6 touchdown grabs, in fact, Chandler did it twice.

I will say I am a bit concerned with Knox breaking the record. Growing up in West Seneca and being a fan of the Bills since I was born, I have always been a big fan of Pete Metzelaars. Plus his birthday is on May 24th, which also happens to be my birthday so I have a special connection with him and I like the idea of seeing his name in the Buffalo Bills record books.

But if someone has to break the record, Knox is having himself a season, he seems to love playing in Buffalo, and he has great hair so why not!

Make sure you are watching tonight and who knows you could be seeing history-making football as the Bills take on the Titans on Monday Night Football.
