Tonawanda Kid Looking To Cut 50 Veterans Lawns To Honor Late Grandpa

Nathan Adams is a 14-year-old kid who wanted a job, and at 14 years old, what better job to have than cutting and maintaining lawns during the summer.

So, he started his business but then had an idea to honor his grandfather who recently passed away from cancer. Grandpa was a United States Army Vet so, Nathan thought he would cut 50 lawns for 50 local area veterans in Western New York.

After all, his grandfather was the one who taught him how to cut the grass, so it was only fitting.

He put his endeavor on Facebook and one of his clients was able to pull off a great surprise. That client's name is Leona Doherty. She who works at Lowe's and Lowe's surprised him with all brand new lawn equipment.

He didn't quit. He's 14, a teenager. A lot of kids would have been like, you know. And it was hot that day. He just stuck with it," Doherty said. "When you have the ability to make something a little bit better for somebody, you should just do it", said Leona according to WGRZ.com.
