Emergency crews were deployed to Emery Park in South Wales on Tuesday afternoon after a toddler sustained injuries from falling off a cliff.

Officials confirmed that the 2-and-a-half-year-old fell from a "significant height," when he slipped off a cliff and fell to the bottom of a ravine.

The Erie County Sheriff's Deputies in the High Angle Rope Team were deployed and used 150 feet of rope to reach the boy.

Mercy Flight was also brought in to airlift the toddler to Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo, where he is currently being treated.
