Time Lapse From The WTC Site 2004-2014 [VIDEO]

On September 11th, 2001, I was supposed to be heading to northern New Jersey to see my family. Instead I was glued to the television for hours and calling my family and friends to make sure they were all alright. After 9/11 when I would travel up the New Jersey Turnpike, I would see the hole in the skyline where the towers used to stand and it made me sad. I haven't had a chance to go down to the memorial in New York City yet but I plan to next time I head to NYC. The final piece of the Freedom Tower was put into place last year and is slated to be opened sometime this fall.
