Thousands of people lined the streets of Elmwood Avenue as thousands more marched through the streets for the annual Buffalo Pride Parade on Sunday.

The parade started at Forest Avenue and finished in the heart of Allentown on Allen Street. Festivities then continued at Canalside, where several entertainers performed on stage in front of a crowd of over 15-thousand people.

Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown attended the festival to show his support for the LGBTQ community, and Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul spoke in support of the Gender Expression Non-Discrimination Act (a state bill that would fight against transgender discrimination).
