This 1901 Silent Film Version of ‘A Christmas Carol’ May Be The Oldest [VIDEO]

If you could use about four minutes of holiday spirit today, this is for you! is This is possibly the earliest known film adaptation of Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol' that was written in 1843. The silent film from 1901 was called 'Marley’s Ghost' or as we know it today 'Scrooge.'
