As a child we would take a drive down to Bemus Point to visit Grandma and Grandpa living near Jamestown, New York. Fishing in Chautauqua Lake was an event I'll never forget. But there's more than fishing to do in Chautauqua County, especially during winter!

In Chautauqua County you'll celebrate mid-winter with things like sleigh rides, tubing, skiing (both downhill and cross county), plus snowmobiling.  Above you see horse back riding, yeah, in the snow! And did you know they hold a winter festival featuring a gigantic ice castle made from blocks of ice cut from Chautauqua Lake? Amazing!

So if you're looking for something to do with the family, why not come out and play this winter in Chautauqua County, NY!
