There Is A Critical Need For Blood In WNY

The Upstate New York Transplant Services has a critical need for blood and is asking for donations!

UNYTS has teamed up with the Cheektowaga Police department to host an emergency Blood Drive this afternoon from Noon until 6 pm.

The Blood Drive will take place at the Police Headquarters. Walk up are welcome but you are encouraged to register.

As a token of their appreciation, UNYTS will give all donors Sabres pre-season tickets.

According to UNYTS, during this critical need, every three seconds someone needs blood, and that one out of every 10 people who goes into a hospital needs blood.
