If you haven't heard, there's a snowstorm coming to Western New York Monday evening and lasting until the midday on Tuesday.

Snow totals could approach a foot or more throughout Western New York by Tuesday afternoon, and there's another storm likely for Thursday.

In fact, that second system is current causing havoc on the south and midwest right now with millions of Americans losing power due to ice and snow and facing unbelievably cold temperatures.

Here were the morning wind chill temperatures in Texas this morning

Currently, Dallas, TX sits at -4 degrees wind chill, according to the Weather Channel. In Buffalo, as of 1 p.m. Monday afternoon, the wind chill is 23 degrees. A 20-degree difference between Dallas and Buffalo! That's insane.

This cold is being described as a once-in-a-lifetime event. The storm itself is also being described as one for the record books, which will work its way into Western New York on Thursday after slowly moving its way across the eastern half of the United States.
