You might think Buffalo has had more white Christmases than not, over recent years but the truth is, the last 15 years haven't been kind to those who want a snow-filled Christmas morning.

According to the National Weather Service, since 1980, there have only been 11 years where over an inch has fallen at the Buffalo Airport on Christmas Day and just one since 2004 (2017). Historically, there is a 58 percent chance of a white Christmas, which equated to at least an inch of snow on the ground (snow depth).

Here are the top 7 snowfalls for Christmas in Buffalo since 1980. Thanks to The Buffalo News for additional information.
