Wait could this be an April Fools Joke....no April 1st isn't until Monday.  The price of gasoline in Western New York is actually LOWER than the national average?  That never happens.

According to AAA, locals are paying an average of $2.63/gallon for regular fuel.  Across the country, it's $2.68.

However shrinking supplies along with higher demand will probably move prices up as we get closer to Memorial Day.

The latest report from the Energy Information Administration (EIA) shows that demand is much higher than last year at this time. As crude prices continue to rise, pump prices will likely follow suit as the country enters the spring and summer driving seasons. Motorists should expect higher gas prices through Memorial Day, AAA added.
