So, it seems loads of costumes are based on nostalgia, favorite TV and movie characters.
The top costume searches by those identifying as female include the Powerpuff Girls, Stranger Things, and Harley Quinn. These were followed by pirates, aliens, and mermaids.

The top five list includes Lilo and Stitch, Timon and Pumba, Woody and Bo Beep, Velma and Daphne, and a Pulp Fiction couples costume.
