Largest Anchor Bar Coming to Amherst

Students at the University at Buffalo will be in walking-distance from a Buffalo favorite! An Anchor Bar franchise will be opening at the former Fuddruckers (then briefly Honey's) at the corner of Sweet Home and Maple roads in Amherst.

Mark Dempsey, Anchor Bar Vice President, told the Buffalo News that the franchisees

"hope to open by mid-June to July, something in that range,” if all goes as planned."

I'm personally looking forward to seeing that corner get going and having some wings....extra spicy of course.
