Sometimes you think you know everything about a celebrity. And then you find out you don't. Case in point: Henry Winkler, who received an honorary knighthood earlier this week from Great Britain [honorary because Americans are not allowed to receive such titles from foreign governments].

The surprise was the reason why; Winkler has spent much of the last two years in England, helping to raise awareness about dyslexia and other learning disabilities.  It gets better: The Actor Formerly Known As The Fonz has dyslexia himself [other notable dyslexics include Cher, Albert Einstein, Muhammad Ali, Whoopi Goldberg, and Jay Leno]. Better still, Winkler has written 17 children's books about Hank Zipzer, who overcomes his dyslexia and deals with school and bullies!

Henry Winkler rose to super stardome in 1974 in the hit TV sitcom Happy Days in which he portrayed Aurthur Fonzarelli (The Fonz) .  The show ran for 11 years and is still aired to this day in reruns.

And did I mention he was an executive producer of MacGyver?
