It's still summertime and yes, we are still enjoying those warm temperatures. Winter isn't on the horizon just yet but as we know here in Buffalo, it WILL be here eventually and according to the Farmers' Almanac, it's expected to be another frigid winter.

The Farmers' Almanac is predicting a "polar coaster" winter this year.

Most of the country is predicted to have colder than normal temperatures and more winter precipitation; yes, that includes the Great Lakes, which means Buffalo.

"The Almanac calls for above-normal winter precipitation over the eastern third of the country as well as the Great Plains, Midwest, and the Great Lakes."

The Almanac calls for a "wild ride" with the 2019-2020 winter season. Make preparations now!
