The Buffalo Sabres kicked off the new NHL season pretty much the same way they ended last season...with a loss.

With a sense of high hopes filling the air at KeyBank Center, the play on the ice continued to be not good enough as the Buffalo Sabres dropped their home opener to the Boston Bruins 4-0.

While the Sabres are packed full of talented young players like last year overall #1 draft pick Rasmus Dahlin, the team could find the back of the net while being outplayed by their rival.

The Sabres are back home tomorrow night as they host the NY Rangers.
