The Avengers Sequel Will Arrive In 2015

Get out your calendar for 2015... Disney has announced a release date for "The Avengers" sequel.

The next installment of "The Avengers"... creatively titled "The Avengers 2" will land in theatres nationwide on May 1, 2015.

Since the first film shattered the box office with a May opening, Disney is hoping for the same with the sequel. "The Avengers" is now the third highest grossing film of all time, selling more than one-point-four-billion-dollars in worldwide ticket sales.

Currently "Avatar" and "Titanic" hold the top two spots for the highest grossing films of all time.
