Ten Lives Club wants to make cats Buffalo celebrities - and hope to get them adopted at the same time, by having them pose for a feline photo shoot.

Moto Pet Photo is providing photography for the event.

Ten Lives Club Cat Rescue & Adoption Group is a non-profit organization committed to providing shelter to abused, stray, and surrendered family pets.TLC has, according to their website "saved the lives of or assisted over 35,000 cats through rescue, adoption, spay/neuter services, or feral feeding assistance."

TLC's main shelter is located in Blasdell, NY. Adoptable cats can be found there as well as at over a dozen satellite locations, throughout the Western New York area.

We rely solely on donations and constant fundraising to assist the hundreds of cats and kittens that pass through our care each year. Over 300 volunteers help to make our organization operate on a daily basis, helping in areas such as cleaning, adoptions, and fundraising. In addition, we have a small paid staff to care for the cats at our main shelter facility, including our own on-site Veterinary Staff.

The shoot is a way the Ten Lives Club can help the felines find their forever homes according to a story on NEWS 4 (WIVB-TV).

“At Ten Lives Club, we are always looking for ways to help our cats get adopted! This gave our cats the opportunity to have some fun and get the attention they deserve! We hope it helps them find their ‘purrfect’ forever homes,” said Kimberly LaRussa, Public Relations Manager for Ten Lives Club.

The rescue group launched a “Help a Cat in a Hat” program, inviting business owners and individuals to sponsor a cat. Read more here.
