It's one thing to see people are hurting or in need, it's another to do something about it, and to be supported enough by your family to make that happen.

In the last three years, Lily has given away more than 5,000 toys and created her own non-profit called Lily's Toy Box.

One of Lily’s “Bucket List To Do’s” was to have Ellen DeGeneres hear about Lily’s Toy Box.  Guess what, IT HAPPENED! Lily was celebrated as one of Ellen & Cheerios One Million Acts of Good, Generation Good. Lily’s picture and a blurb about what she has been doing was featured on Ellentube.

Now during the COVID-19 pandemic, Lily is helping the children of first responders and healthcare workers. She knows they are scared as their parents go to work, but she hopes a toy can bring them joy during this tough time.

Lily's Toy Box is full of testimonials from grateful recipients...here is a sample...

Dear Mrs. DuBose & Lily,
Thank you so much for the emoji light, braid book and gift card. I really love the way the light looks in my room. I use the braid book often and sometimes I practice styles on my mom and friends! I bought a gallon of glue to make slime with my giftcard.
Thank you!
Victoria
