Our Christmas in July was a huge success. When Santa came to visit with us, I told him what I wanted for Christmas... A man!

Christmas definitely came early for me and my wish was granted. My date on Friday went amazing and it was really quite magical...

I'll be honest, dating is the worst! I am sure a lot of you can relate. When you think of a first date, you reflect back on awkward moments, words you should have said or shouldn't have said, what you should wear, and those first date jitters.

As many first dates, you talk to the person leading up to the date. We hit it off immediately sending texts back and forth and talking nightly. Needless to say, we were both excited to meet on Friday.

We met at Pizza plant and I was running a little late.I shot him a text to let him know that I was running late. I didn't want him to think that I was standing him up, (Worst feeling ever!)

As soon as I showed up, I gave him a huge hug. He told me that I looked prettier in person and that I lit up the entire room. We ate some yummy food and it felt like I have known him for years. We decided to walk around Canalside to burn off some of the carbs.

We didn't want the night to end so we decided to go to Canada. As we were driving over the rainbow bridge, the fireworks went off. It was so magical! It was breath taking! I also thought, if there is a warrant out for his arrest, they would catch him at the border. (Hey, I've had weirder things happen!)  We park in Canada and then head down to the falls.

After a yummy float at Coca Cola, we hit up one of the ninth wonders of the world... Niagara Falls. As we were watching the "Mighty Niagara," feelings of warmth and comfort rushed through me. He knew exactly how to hold me. Then, we kissed. The kiss wasn't just any old kiss, he decided to "dip" me and kiss me. (Never had that before)

Magical is the only word that I can use to describe this experience. Prior to this date, he had sent me the song by Bad Wolves, "Hear Me Now." (We both like our Rock/Metal bands) As he was driving me back to my car, that song came on the radio. How ironic?

Who knows where it will lead, but it feels nice to be treated so well from a true gentleman.

(If you notice in the featured image, he makes my hair stand straight up! LOL)

Happy hunting, Buffalo!
