Now that school is out, it's time to find fun activities your kids can participate in.

Teams are needed for a 5v5 youth soccer tournament on Saturday August 10 at the West Seneca Soccer Park. Teams from U8 to U14 are welcome, and each team is guaranteed three games.

The top two teams in each age division will participate in a playoff game.

The fee is $175 per team, and you can register your team by clicking here.

The tournament is a fundraiser for PUCCS, the Program for Understanding Childhood Concussion and Stroke.

PUCCS mission is to spread awareness to prevent concussions as an injury in all sports, practicing good sportsmanship at all times exemplifies that mission. Sportsmanship awards will be given to a single member of each team, at the completion of each game, and the recipient of the award will be decided by the opposing team.

According to a press release from the organization, PUCCS uses funds, "through donations, to help translate what research shows for those impacted by concussion injuries. This allows us to better understand and develop the clinical tools necessary to help young athletes manage and recover from the effects of concussion and stroke. Our vision is about our educational outreach to help athletes, parents, and coaches understand the risk, identification and management of concussions and its importance in positive outcomes."

You can learn more about PUCCS at their Facebook page.
