Sometimes I go out to run errands with my fiancee and it doesn't take long for us to make our way to a home decor store. She can spend a long time in there and I can see why they're so popular, since anything and everything can be found to spruce up the interior and exterior of your home.

One of the most popular in Western New York is the Tattered Tulip, which has two locations in Lockport. Now, they're preparing to open a new location a bit further south.

According to their Facebook page, Tattered Tulip will be opening their new location in North Tonawanda on Niagara Falls Blvd. It will be in the famous Wurlitzer Building!

They will be between Platter's Chocolates and Woodcock Brothers Brewery and feature a huge selection of home goods and decor for the home.

Even though there's no set date for the grand opening, Tattered Tulip says it will be in September, so just in time for the fall season and all those autumn touches for the home.

Tattered Tulip is extremely popular in Niagara County, and now there's a location just a bit further south into North Tonawanda and I'm sure many people in the North Tonawanda, Tonawanda, Amherst, and Williamsville area will be very happy.

The other two locations can be found on Lake Ave. in Lockport and Olcott-Lockport Rd. in Lockport.
