The first day of America's largest two-day food festival, Taste of Buffalo presented by Tops, was amazing. It was a beautiful day in downtown Buffalo. Of course, if you weren't able to make it out yesterday, you and the fam can enjoy the best food Buffalo has to offer today, Sunday, July 10 from 11 am to 7 pm. There are 40 restaurants and food trucks, five wineries from across New York State, live music, live cooking demonstrations, kids activities and more. The 39th Annual Taste of Buffalo takes place along Delaware Avenue starting at Chippewa Street and continuing into Niagara Square.

Each restaurant is offering a healthy option thanks to the Taste's partnership with the Independent Health Foundation. These dishes are lower in fat and sodium.

As far as getting to and or parking for the Taste, you can take public transportation or rideshare. Parking may be limited since many streets are blocked off.

You can park on any side street that doesn't have restrictions, and there are also numerous parking lots and ramps surrounding the festival.

Here Are 5 Spots Offering Tacos At Taste Of Buffalo

The Taste of Buffalo is free to attend. Food and beverage tickets are available for purchase in $6 sheets and can be purchased using cash, Visa or Mastercard.

New to the Taste this year, as a tribute of sorts to the tragic mass shooting on May 14, there will be a 'Share a Meal with Your Neighbor' tent inside Niagara Square. Mayor Byron W. Brown said,

It’s great to have the Taste of Buffalo, one of our City’s great summer traditions, back this July. I thank Taste of Buffalo organizers and Taste sponsor, Tops Markets, for finding a way to honor the victims of the May 14 tragedy, and creating a quick and easy way for Taste-goers to make financial donations to the Buffalo 5/14 Survivors Fund using the QR codes. I also think our entire community will embrace the ‘Share a Meal with Your Neighbor’ tent and have conversations with open hearts and minds while enjoying great food.
