Target and Walmart Will Have Car Seat Trade-In Programs
Target's had car seat trade-in deals in the past but this year, Walmart will also have their own car seat trade-in promotion.
According to WGRZ, Target's car seat trade-in program starts today and runs through September 13th. You can bring in your car seat to Guest Services and receive a 20 percent off coupon for a new car seat, stroller or select baby items. The coupon itself is good through September 14th.
Waste Management is partnering to recycle the used car seats.
Walmart also has their own car seat trade-in program that will start on September 16th and run through September 30th. You can trade in your used car seat for a $30 gift card that can be used on baby items in-store or online.
Walmart is limiting you to two car seats per trade-in though and it excludes booster seats.
Walmart is teaming up with recycling company, TerraCycle.
